With so much happening in Cork over the next few months, is there really any other place to be.
Festival fever starts at the end of this month with The Beamish Cork Folk Festival (28th September – 3rd October). Featuring Folk and Trad artists from around the world this festival is fast becoming a must-be-seen-at occasion on the events calendar.
At the end of October over the bank Holiday weekend and Halloween Festivities (28th – 31st October), Cork again becomes the places to be as some of the world’s finest jazz musicians will be performing in venues throughout the city as part of the internationally renowned Guinness Cork Jazz Festival.
Then just a week later and barely time to recover, it’s the Corona Cork Film festival; starting on the 6th November this festival will be showing a wide range of films from around the world and is a major essential showcase for Irish film production.
If visiting Cork for the Festivals or the atmosphere or just looking to stay a few days or for a little bit longer, a conveniently located hotel in Cork that offers superb comfort and deals is the Silver Springs Moran Hotel.
